Its not my cup of tea to have sex with another man either...its never been a thought of mine or anything I would ever consider. However, if someone else wants to do that, then fine. Nobody tells me not to want women...so I would never tell a gay man that he shouldnt be with a man. Why would it be any of my business? Why would you care if two men could be married in your state? This line of thinking is exactly why our society is getting run to the ground.
Would you then support polygamous marriage? Mormon marriages between old men and consenting teenage girls? Muslim marriages of men and young girls? A marriage between two men and a lady? I mean why would you care if this happened in your state?
So you have a problem with Mormons, Muslims and people who have a preference for polygamy? Why do we have to stop at 2 consenting adults? What's the problem with 4,5,6,7 or 8 consenting adults? If you open the can of worms for gay marriage, then who then can't infringe on the rights of polygamists. Agree? You have to if your veiw is 'everyone is entitled to their right to marry the person they love'. What of they love more than one person?
Lol, if you're Mormon and you want to do that, then do it. Its not my place to say "yes" or "no". Just because I dont agree with it or wouldnt partake in that doesnt mean that Im right and everyone has to follow what I want. I just dont understand the need to push my beliefs on others. There are so many cultures, so many viewpoints, and so many different perspectives...there isnt a right or wrong if you arent harming others. So to answer your question, I dont give a **** how people want to live their lives in my state. As long as nobody is being hurt, then why should it matter?
Worked for Mitt Romney's grandfather. You'd think old Mitt would be all for both since his own family had to flee to Mexico to live like they wanted. Why would he want to put gays through what his grandfather went through?
I noticed at the beginning of this thread were a few posts by Landlord Landry. They were blanked out and I don't know if that was intentional or not but it would've been nice to see them. As I've read through this thread though I am saddened thinking about what happened to Landlord Landry and the issues we are discussing must have pained him at the end. Knowing that he paid the ultimate price when he found he couldn't reconcile the beliefs that he grew up with the world as he came to see it.

People say he doesnt take an income yet theres a new book everytime you turn around. Even his wife wrote one that'll be 10% of your income PLUS 19.99... PLUS my wife has a new book!
