Sitting here watching and to me it feels like the last exhibition game of preseason. Both teams just trying to execute and possibly determine the rotation completely, get everybody comfortable, and figure out who is the last man on the bench and who gets cut. Just feels like an exhibition game, not a playoff game. No drama whatsoever. One team clearly the superior. The home team simply rooting for their team to look good, get better, and improve. Everybody in that buidling knows the season is over and this game is really meaningless.
how is he hating? i honestly cant see why rockets fans would want another texas team to win anything. thats like an aggie fan wanting UT to win a national title. i hope the thunder destroys the spurs.
The thing is... we can't even compare ourselves to the Spurs. From top to bottom, they are better than us in terms of their organisation and their players. We're in the same league but we definitely aren't on the same level. To me it doesn't matter that they are interstate, there's just no rivalry right now because we're too mediocre...
so if the jazz were one of the top teams in the west and we were mediocre, you wouldnt still call that a rivalry?
Hopefully Griffin learns a lot from these playoffs. After facing 2 back-to-the-basket big men in Randolph and Duncan, hopefully he'll learn to add things to his game next season. Next season will be huge for his growth.
Griff needs to work on his defense before he worries about post moves, free throws, or anything else.
