Another "What's this song?" thread...

    Okay, the song is called "Ride, Captain Ride" and I have been able to find versions by Moody Blues and Grand Funk Railroad, but according to my dad neither of those bands did it originally. Anyone know who did?

    The lyrics to the chorus are this:

    Ride, captain, ride...upon your mystery ship
    On your way to a world that others might have missed
    Ride, captain, ride...upon your mystery ship
    You'll be amazed by the friends you have met on your trip

    (not sure on that last line.
