Jake and LeBlanc were seniors when I was a Freshman. They both went to UCONN, but LeBlanc couldn't get playing time with Rip Hamilton in front of him. Calvin Murphy, Jr. left early in the season for Westbury because his dad was nuts and got in fights with refs and the coach. Hicks was a junior at the time and played in Turkey.
'98. I was in Broderick Hicks' class. There were some other great players on that team who ended up going D1 as well. Justin Boecker went to Manhattan. Ed Kargbo also went to Wake Forest with Broderick, and got a bit of attention when he broke the backboard during warmups his freshman year. Sam Adamo went to San Diego.
