Nice tangent. Isn't Speights giving Memphis the same thing this Darrell character was giving them a year ago? Dude seems to hit all his midrange jumpshots and gets a decent amount of boards.

Darrell is better athletically and he would be able to guard Blake better than any of our current players.

Darrell is a beast. People that don't watch the grizzlies often don't know this.

Spieghts came in to replace Zach, not Darrell. Dante was supposed to be our Darrell this year, but he is more of a sf defender. Darrell is a low post defender.

Man watching Blake/ZBo battle off the ball is awesome. Love it. That's how real basketball is.

For all the flopping Blake does, I have to give props he does take a beating more than most players.

 

Cool story but the fact is that Speights is giving them all they need from the back-up big position. Blake has been shut down by Marc Gasol and injuries so I doubt they miss Arthur in that respect.
