    Cant help it if his teams weren't good enough. T-Mac always stepped up in the playoffs.

    Kobe,Duncan,shaq,Payton,Malone,Kidd,iverson,dirk,Vince carter....was Tmac really in the top 3? Maybe top 3 scores with iverson and shaq but still man that meltdown vs Boston back in the day and his constant failure here says something abt him

    Malone and Payton? this is about 2000-2004 right?

    Vince Carter was only better than Tmac for one year, and that's the last year they were together.

    He made 2 All NBA first team in those year, two scoring titles, he was a top 5 player no doubt.

    Those are the only listed that might have held any weight compared to what Tmac was then

    People forget that at one point people debated if KOBE or TMAC were the best players in the league.

    wait why was my thread on gasol locked but this thread isn't? Gasol was a Rocket before he got vetoed. Mac has played for 3 teams since the Rockets had him.

    His teams were trash and he played outta his mind to win, he has one of the highest playoff PERs of all time. You guys act as if he's a bad player or something while he has been stuck on sh!tty teams or it was combined with injuries(Yao, Hill, Horford).

    Coulda put more of this explanation into that vague thread. It just mentioned boxscore stats, and just said it was a bad game. There wasnt any indication of the "What If" potential value to the team.

    Of course the guy that was the face of the franchise for 5 years is more thread worthy than a never on-the-team player.

    He looked pretty bad in this game. He would occasionally get the ball in the high post but couldn't do anything with it. He didn't even look like he wanted to do anything with it. He'd just dribble for a bit then pass it to someone who wasn't in a good position to score.

    Don't get 'er done, Morey.
