So uhh did shaq just say 'suckin dick' or 'chuck n dick' as they cut to commercial. Is it a requirement to be bald? Shaq has fit in pretty nicely. Once they stopped forcing him and the stupid skits. Chemistry of kenny and chuck is still unmatched.
Shaq is terrible. He killed the flow of that show. Dude's not as funny as he thinks he is, and he doesn't have much insight. He's also super biased sometimes. C Webb, Steve Kerr, Reggie Miller would've all been better choices.
Shaq has been terrible all year long. When I first heard he was going to be on the show I thought it was a good idea. He is still forcing things when it comes to trying to be funny. Hopefully he isn't back next year. Replace Shaq with C-Webb.
His humor just feels forced; especially when he makes fun of Chuck. Then, when they make fun of Shaq, he is quick to defend himself, but in an obnoxious way that gets annoying.
They need Ron Artest. Never thought shaq was funny. Maybe a little later add Joakim Noah. or lebron and delonte west.
cwebb is horrible. Shaq, loved the idea, but these guys just have to much ego and pride to loosen up. The best thing about kenny and charles is they make fun of themselves and just are light hearted. Guys like Jalen rose, webber, shaq just have pride oozing out and it just messes up the flow of the game. I think Reggie miller would've been perfect or just leave it as is.
Annoying-ass always-not-in-on-the-joke Reggie Miller and his whiny voice over the awesome C-Webb? Yuck. Webber had the best chemistry with the guys out of anyone.
I think you guys grade shaq too harsh! He does get annoying, like the other night when he was forsing some humor trying to give charles a long clap for his award. But he has some good moments and i sense the chemistry. They do a good job when its a serious basketball discussion.
I've thought Shaq was terrible as a commentator from the start. He forces out lame jokes and is generally an unintelligent guy.
I don't know why they keep on trying to bring in a 4th guy, it was a good 3-way booth with just Ernie, Chuck and Kenny. Must be some sort of NBA player welfare program that mandated Turner gives another job to an ex-NBA player. BTW, playoffs is like summer league for ex-player broadcasters. So many soon-to-be-retired guys getting guest spots on NBATV. Just saw Anthony Parker the other day, and he wasn't half bad. Better than some of their regulars, actually.
I agree, they should leave it at 3 on Inside the NBA, not 4, unless they find a really witty guy to come in. Like a Van Gundy.
