    Early in the 1st quarter the Atlanta anouncers reported that Eddie Griffin had been excused from the team. Does anyone else have any info?

    There is not another trade in the works is there?

    They will not trade Eddie Griffin. They gave up 3 first round picks on him. And he is 20 years old, I think Eddie will be a Rocket for a long time.

    The only people on this team that are not going to be traded ever are Ming, Francis, and Griffin could one day but it is highley unlikely.;)

    Did someone in Houston here Calvin or Bill say anything about why Eddie was not with the team tonight?

    The Atlanta anouncers never elaborated on why Eddie Griffin had been excused from the team.

    I have NBA League Pass and always get the opposition announcers, tonight they never elaborated on why Eddie didn't play.

    Anyone who saw Bill and Calvin, did they explain what's going on? Any news?

    They said he did not play because of personal reasons that the team excused him for.

    Radio said he is expected to be in Minneapolis.

    Bill and Calvin didn't say anything about his abscense, only that he was excused.
    My theory is that he had some of Yao's mum's cooking, which didn't sit well with him. Hershey Squirts at work. :eek:

    What would work in theory would be Eddie, Boki and Collier and a bunch of first-round picks for the next years for Brand... :eek:

    But I don't see it happening :).
