You know CJ-D is the human form of Mad Cow disease right? If he had it he wouldn't be allowed out of a quarantined room.

Actually, it isn't easily comunicable. IIRC the original discovery involved canibals, and only the older men got it, because they were the ones who ate the brains. The women, who only got to gnaw on a femur or something, didn't contract the disease.

I think you need.contact with brains or the csf.

    Oh I get it.....

They should have foreseen the injury coming....

    Got it!

The guy started every game up to that point, but you are right, the medical staff should have stopped him from playing in Tennessee because, as you say, had protection on his leg and was certain to break it.

Then you follow that gem up with saying that if the medical staff prevented him from playing in the game against Tennessee he would have been able to come back sooner when sustaining an injury in a game he wasn't in? Got it!

    Again I plead....please stop!

Yea, I think you are right. The cannibal form of CJD is called kuru. But they are all prion related diseases. (misfolded proteins in the body).

Most people with CJD die within 3 months though.

Since it seems that you don't remember, he injured his leg during the Baltimore game the week before. Would have been best to sit him the next week. Instead, they gambled and his leg broke.

Just saw on the Redskins fan page that Andre caught the clap and our "medical staff" told him he needs to retire otherwise it will turn into Lou Gehrig's.

Not sure you understand what an injury is...

Had he injured his leg he would have not been able to play....

If every player sat out when they were hurting it would be pretty hard to field a team every Sunday. He may have been a bit banged up after the Baltimore game but no way was he going to sit out no matter what the medical staff recommended.

See: B. Cushing after Jacksonville.....played after what everyone thought was a twisted knee.

This is the NFL after all....

There is a reason why he was limited in practice all week. Again, with the injury he had, it would not have hurt to sit him that week. Players are always going to have dings, but i don't consider a fractured fibula a ding.

My favorite Seinfeld episode of all time and to the best of my knowledge, I have all of them. I am a huge Seinfeld nut, so to pick a favorite is very hard. (Soup Nazi is close)

He definitely didn't break his leg in Baltimore so I don't know what you are referring to...

He broke his leg in this game....

    http://blog.chron.com/nfl/2011/10/manning-injured-while-making-interception/

...the game you say he should have never played in.

And then he came back a month early.

lol, that has nothing to do with the medical staff, and everything to do with the Texans not giving free hints to opposing teams on who they need to prepare for and who they don't. They're far from the only team that does this. Oakland pretended McFadden's Lisfranc injury was just a mild sprain for nearly the entire season.

Jared Crick had a degenerative condition that made his collegiate performance become progressively worse - it's called NPNTNSAS - not playing next to Ndamukung Suh anymore syndrome
