From all accounts, it's not just Chicago's medical staff - Phoenix's medical staff is clearly considered the best in the league, because they are treating players radically different from the rest of the league. IMO, a low cost/high reward move would be to find medical staff similar to Phoenix, and invest accordingly. Either that, or pay some coin to hire away Phoenix's medical team.

Eek. That looked bad. Might be ACL or MCL. Tough for the Bulls.

What happened to Rose? Game was too boring so I shut it off and went to the gym.

Although I'm critical of Rose, I really wanted him to be healthy b/c the Bulls are the only team who can beat the Heat in the East realistically.

Turn on NBA TV. Probably the only thing they will discuss the next 2 hours.

    Damn.

    That's a torn ACL.

Why were they playing him that late???

    Game was over.

Always a lesson to coaches...you got the game in control with like a minute to go...take your guy out.

Going for that playoff triple double may come back to bite them in the ass.

I'm guessing Rose didn't want to go out because he was pursuing that triple double.

Just saw it. Doesn't look too bad. Pray that he can bounce back for the next series.

But then, this guy is so injury prone now (that was a non-contact injury) that you really might just want to rest him up and make sure he's 100%.

Rose's body just broke down this year. This injury is probably due to him overcompensating for all his other injuries. A major injury was bound to happen sooner or later. Yet Thibs will get the blame.

Didn't look bad? It was non-contact and he was holding his knee. I'm not optimistic.

Thibs should get some blame. It was crazy having Rose in that late.

It's not Thib's fault that Rose is made of glass.

That was what happened to TMAC. First was his back, then his legs b/c of overcompensation.

While true, but that was a non-contact injury making a play Rose normally makes. He was going to be injured at one point down the line in the playoffs at this rate. He just really needs to work on his body this offseason.

I'm no doctor but that definitely looked like an ACL or meniscus sprain/tear the way his knee buckled and how he fell to the ground. :(

Seeing the replay....Bulls fans...it doesnt look good...Non contact injuries often result is a sudden change in joint integrity...Im hoping for the best...but the Bulls get by against the 76ers...but thats it...Im sad for Rose...great person great player...Why did coach Thibs keep him in that long anyways...

Triple doubles in the postseason are over rated...its all about the wins...Thibs should have pulled him...and no questions would be asked...its the playoffs...players are going to go hard...and it seemed...Rose was making a play and decided to do a quick change of direction...I really hope he didnt tear anything...its so exciting to see him fly around so fast...
