His GF didn't look bad, but I couldn't figure out if it was his mom or his girl...

Thought all along that the Texans will take some receiver that they perceive to fit their system, and not really based on overall grade. I have no idea who Posey is, but I doubt he'll be of much use this season.

Still think the Texans should find a WR in free agency or via trade. They need a legit #2 for this season.

Read a scouting report on Posey, not too impressive. ??? Don't understand this one.

Im actually liking the pick. I like his body control and the way he moves...I think he will easily supplant Jacoby (if JJ is still on the team). Imo, he can find his way on the field and that would be pretty good for a 3rd rounder.

    Mike Mayock

    On DeVier Posey:

Mayock's take: "He flashes the ability to control the body with natural hands. Big-bodied receiver. Good pick."

    On Brandon Brooks:

Mayock's take: "He wasn't even a combine invite. He's a massive, physical freak."

and they were saying in NFLN that Foster and Ben Tate will love this pick.

and here it is the combine workout vid of DeVier Posey:

    he looks good.

Cousins still on the board here in the 4th. Would love the Texans to take him.

This is the first draft where I've felt confident enough in the front office and coaches to sit back and just enjoy it.

Benefit of the doubt; gotta love it.

They should go after that RB Miller. I know its not a need but he's a second round grade and you need at least 3 rbs,Miller Cousins and that kicker from a and m. That would be awesome.

With our 3 4th rd. picks, I think we pick up an OT, WR, ILB/CB. I like Marvin Jones(Cal WR) and Brandon Boykins(Ga. CB), but I'm starting to think its time to pick up a LB - I worry a little bit about our LBs in coverage. Our OLBs are okay in coverage, and I'm not sure James, Dobbins, and Sharpton are enough to replace demeco. Probably play less nickel too, unless Gabbert and Luck have magical seasons.

I don't know if any of the Texans first three picks will be any good or not, as I can't remember seeing any of them play in college. But, they play positions we needed to shore up, and they are all interesting picks that should be fun to watch develop.

Is mercilus a one year wonder or future all-pro?

Did we get the steal of the draft in Posey because of his off-field issues?

Will Brooks develop into a dominating force, or will he put on weight and just be a big blob?

All very interesting in my opinion. Texans definitely didn't play it safe.
