    Barkley was the BETTER Sun.
    Nash the better CAREER Sun.

    Barkley by a hair.

Barkley at his Suns peak was the 3rd best player behind Jordan and Hakeem.

Nash may have 2 MVPs but he underperformed in playoff. Suns were supposed to go to NBA finals at least once but they didn't.

Maybe DD means top 10 Rockets of all time. Even that is arguable, I suppose. No offense to Sir Charles.

This was actually a really hard decision but I have to go with Barkley. They stack up pretty evenly though in what they meant for their team but Barkley took them to the Finals which weighs a lot in my book.

a lot of these polls about players today vs legends will always be skewed by the younger/current generation in favor of the player that is still playing since they never witnessed the legend player.

Having been a Suns fan for quite sometime this shouldn't even be close. Barkley was a the sole reason that made the Suns a dominant force in his prime. Unfortunately he played in the same era as MJ and got unlucky with Dagger threes against him in the playoffs (Paxon, Stockton, Ellie)

I'll argue that Nash never underperformed; the style D'Antoni ran just wasn't good enough to contend with the Spurs (who were at their dominant peak), amongst other teams in the league.

    Hella fun to watch though.
