I know Nike is hurting since MJ retired.
Maybe they can come out with a Jordan wingtip line of shoes to get their sales going again.

Speaking of Nike and MJ, have you seen the NEW Air Jordans.

    Damn, are they UGLY!!!

I really can not believe SI put an NBA administrator on the cover instead of Tiger Woods winning 6 in a row. What's next David Stern shooting hoops on the cover? Don't get me wrong I have a hell of a lot of respect for Jordan... as a player. However, I PERSONALLY don't give a crap about his life as an officer of an NBA team.

Calvin23, MJ has been practicing with the team. I believe that's when they took the picture.

Fox, there just isn't as many golf fans. They just care about selling magazines.

There is a little rumor circulating that Jordan could only work, in any capacity, for selected teams. These selected teams all had one thing in common: contracts with Nike. Who do the Wizards have a contract with? Nike. Nike's sales had dropped quite a bit after Jordan retired, and now all of a sudden, Mike's back wearing practice gear with a Nike logo on it.

Honestly, I don't think Mike wanted to go into the front office. I have a feeling that Nike forced him to, and is probably giving him yet another undeserved chunk of change.

I really doubt Nike 'forced' Michael Jordan to do anything. He made that company. I don't think they're in a position to be making demands of him.

Oh yeah, and I think the cover is sick too.
