One may hate the person for what he did off court, but he's the best basketball player on the planet right now, no disrespect to Durant.

Great mix. Wish it was longer.

Just curious how do you make videos like this? I mean how do you get these HD clips, do you work for a TV station or something?

What platform and what program do you use, if you don't mind sharing? Because this is unbelievable work from a PC. Really great job.

I find most of my highlights on YouTube from various sources. There are people online called cappers who capture all this footage from their TVs for mixmakers to use. After I get all the videos, I just splice them together into a video using Sony Vegas Pro and After Effects (for color correction).

I think I'm becoming a lebron fan. Just enjoy his ball iq. He doesn't force shots, he takes it to the rim, great and willing passer, man handles people, so fast he doesn't need to cross you over, so strong he can finish with a foul.

Thanks! Does it take you a long time to make such a video? It's really nice.

I actually have After Effects installed on my PC but I haven't learned how to use it it since my 2GM memory can't stand it (computer crashes/freezes). Right now I just use Virtualdub & Movie Maker if I need to make anything, and needless to say the quality that comes out is crap.

The average video takes me around three hours to make.
Some videos that I spend extra time on usually take days.

And haha, yeah after effects is really demanding. Even my 4GB RAM can't handle After Effects that well right now.

Only 3 hours for something like this? That's amazing. I actually thought it would take ~30 hours, haha. I made a Jeremy Lin video from 1 game only and that took me like 5 hours and I didn't even edit the audio.

Anyway your videos are really good. You really should make money from the videos somehow. (I noticed you have Google Adsense? on Youtube but does that generate any money?)

Unfortunately, I can't make money off of NBA owned content, but I do this for fun anyway haha.

It was a well edited mix, but I think the audio was a bit off mostly because with these kinds of mixes, the music volume should be about the same as the crowd noise/commentator volume. Otherwise, during those parts in between sound bites, it sounds awkwardly quiet.

And don't take that the wrong way, broyo. Still a good job. Just some constructive criticism from my viewpoint.

I know how TNT does it where they get sound effects of dunks and swishes before hand, as well as ambient crowd noise and basketball dribbling sounds. I can't find any good ones anywhere. :(

EDIT: Here's a mix from the best basketball mixer on YouTube. :p

And here's another good LeBron mix.
