Big game tonight to determine who will own the 8th seed or will have the game breaker in the series. It's strange how this game will be on tv, is like the nba knew it would come to this.... Idk I just found it pretty weird, but who do you guys think will win? And who are you rooting for? I'm going for the suns, I hate the jazz with a passion.
That's tough, but I know forsure either teams won't stand a chance against the spurs in the playoffs. I would like to see Steve nash win a ring this season but i know that won't happen, that's just wishful thinking lol
I actually think the Jazz can play the Spurs tough. Sort of do Memphis-lite from last year. Not beat them, but definitely take them 6-7 games and wear them down.
Memphis beat the Spurs a few times during the regular season last year with a full team...Jazz only game they won this year was by a few points and that was without the big 3 and Devin Harris making 3 3 pointers in the last 2 minutes when the Spurs scrubs were up. The other 3 other match ups the Spurs beat them pretty good...I think the Spurs would sweep the Suns, and Jazz would take the Spurs to 5 games.
Nash beat the Jazz recently on their own home floor. He's just that damn clutch. Game of the year for both teams tonight. Go Suns!
As much as I would love to see another Suns vs Spurs playoff series, it just won't be the same with this version of the Suns. I think the Jazz win tonight, which is the biggest shock for me. I thought this team was lottery bound again. sigh.
Assuming the Suns beat the Jazz tonight, do they need the Jazz to lose to the Spurs in the final regular season game to make the playoffs?
this is pretty cool, I read an article about how cool it would be if the NBA changed to a one and done like March madness and tonight we sort of get a taste of this for either team. This one game puts the entire season on the line for the most part for both teams. Can't wait!
Since the Jazz are the only major sports team in Utah, David Stern gives them the best home court advantage outside of Oklahoma City. That place is always packed.
Hate to say this but Utah got a pretty solid team and will cause SA more problems. Good depth with bigs who are active and got great D.
