Clueless post! It is going to be very hard for chelsea to play whatever they want to call the style of football they played today against bayern or madrid. Both teams are designed to power through opponents stacking the box. As a neutral fan of both teams (Milan Supporter) chelsea did a good job implementing what Milan tried to do against barca. But this Chelsea squad has no business being in a Champions league final. That being said anything can happen when its just 90 minutes.

"I don't usually score, but when I do, it's on the last minute of a UCL semis, with a man down, against Barcelona, at Camp Nuo." - Torres

Huh? If I didn't know better I'd think this Chelsea squad was APOEL Nicosia.
They have every right being in the final. They got their tactics right and played in the manner they felt they had to in order to beat their opponents.

You know Chelsea don't always play that style of football right? One has to adjust to certain teams and Chelsea figured out what to do versus Barcelona and with Mikel and Meireles, they had the holding mids to do what Arsenal couldn't last year vs Barcelona. Chelsea can adjust to Bayern and Madrid's style (But they'll prolly still lose to either team).

Agreed. Much classier than...well, you know who.

I watched the game together with a player from one of the teams playing the next day (and a couple other friends). Dude went to bed right after the game, to be rested for tomorrow. "Who knows if I will ever have a chance like this again."

Both Real and Bayern are pumped. I'm hoping for an early Bayern goal, then everything is possible. I think we can always score one, so they would have to score three to advance. Only problem is, they are always capable of that, too. If Real scores first...uh oh.

It will be a dogfight. Can't wait.

Haha. Just as I predicted. This is the end of barca and the Spanish way.

The club teams winning trophies in the future will be real Madrid, bayern, man city and arsenal. Power. Sexy. Grit. Barcelona is all figured out and they can't do anything about it now. A bunch of speedy gonzalezs running around with their 1 2 s just won't cut it anymore.

Welcome, to the new world order.

Barca not winnin the CL one year and suddenly the whole Spanish system is a failure? Get real guys, they're still the top team in the world and will be for quite some time. The other teams are catching up of course, but saying Barca's breaking down is crap.

It's bad enough you could write rubbish like Barca is all figured out and this is the end of Barca and the Spanish way, BUT you decided to top it by adding Arsenal as one of the club teams to expect to win trophies in the future.

This is why drugs are bad dude.

Of coarse its going to be a much more open game. You would have to be blind to not see that chelsea was extremely fortunate to move through barca. For all the money chelsea has dumped into there squad its still a fairly average squad. When they play madrid/bayern in the final, player for player you will have a hard time arguing for more than a few of chelseas players > there opponent.

I'm really loving all the talk of the dimise of Barca. I remember it fondly 4 years ago.

Come on Arjen! Really hoping that he puts on a show tonight. ATW, what do you think about the recent arguments between him and Ribery? Do you think Robben will go? Does he want to?! Quite cool that you get to see the matches and hang with the players, jealous!

Keep in mind there's only ONE person on here that's stupid enough to talk of the "demise" of Barca. Every other person on here has enough sense to know that they are still a heckuva team and will come back stronger.
