[Liberals] Will you reinstate a suspended p*rn teacher

Maybe instead of standardized tests, we should just evaluate teachers based on how many times they get made fun of by their kids. That will solve a lot of problems with the education system, now that I think about it.

 

Like I said, it's an impairment. She can't do her job because it's a sensitive topic with her target audience. It's far more impairing than having most cosmetic deformity.

I don't think it matters. At this point, people are coming up with a lot of wishy-washy stuff like "the kids will make fun of her" with near zero proof. Given my experience being a kid, I don't think appealing to my 8 year old self is a good way to run anything.

I think you're the one who made up the 'kids will make fun of her' strawman. I don't think that's what Dei was referring to. It contributes to a bad classroom atmosphere, changes the way kids relate to her, how they see her as a role model, and so on. Jokes and name-calling probably results, but that is the barest tip of the potential problem and completely ignores the meat of it.

What problem is there?

I know plenty of teachers who didn't get any respect, for the stupidest reasons. A high-pitched voice and feminine appearance for one, if I remember the disaster that was my Sec 2 history class. We didn't learn anything because the guy DID contribute to a bad classroom atmosphere, and he spent more time being frustrated at us then teaching us.

It certainly wasn't because he was a p*rn star. If we'd found out he was a homosexual (which all of us thought he was anyways), we'd probably have notched the mocking a bit higher. Kids are stupid, what can I say.

The problem is you guys are supposing things based on wishy washy clauses and assuming she will fail with zero knowledge of the actual situation and class. Now you're going to some Freudian s**t where I can't even follow to justify how she will "poison" the class. Until you've sat through one of her classes, and seen how she will teach, I think that's a judgement that neither you or I can make.

Like I said before, as long as she is a good teacher, her past shouldn't matter at all.

 

I say it contributes to a good classroom atmosphere. My argument as to why is a couple pages back, if you would care to refute it.

She seems like a pretty good role model to me. For one thing, she never did anything wrong (as far as we know). Teaching is a poorly compensated and often thankless profession, and she ultimately chose it over the far more exciting life she once had.

Frankly, the problem is people like you don't have the balls to stand up to the repressive forces in our society when they wrongly wage war on any and all manifestations of human sexuality.

It's not about adults. It's a sensitive topic to kids.

It's weird how you don't you want her to be proud of being in an adult film. I thought there was nothing wrong with it? If her p*rn background wasn't an impairment in her ability to teach, why shouldn't she be proud of it?

 

If I was a stupid kid again, I'd start recording her O-voices and playing them back either at random or on occasion.

Or start referring to her movies and asking questions about what kind of pizza she'd recommend to deliver to a girl or some stupid crap like that.

Kids will pull every trick in the book to bring down a teacher. Not sure if other teachers have her back.
