Still make the playoffs

    Just out of curiosity when Denver beats Phoenix tonight and IF Orlando beats Utah do the Rockets still have a chance of making the playoffs?

    I think when Phoenix and Utah play each other we got to hope for Phoenix to win.

    I believe whether San Antonio rests the big 3 or not when they play Phoenix, I still think SA can win that game.

    If we won our last 3 games we could still make it with a little luck.

    We all have 3 games left, and the we need to win 1 more game than both Phoenix and Utah, because we don't have a tie-breaker with either team.

    So here's what we need to happen...

    If the Rockets go 3-0, both Phoenix and Utah have to go 1-2 or worse.

    If the Rockets go 2-1, both Phoenix and Utah have to go 0-3 (which isn't possible since they have a head to head). In this scenario, Rockets are out.

    If the Rockets go 1-2 or 0-3, they're out no matter what.

    In summary, they have to go 3-0.

    Yup we screwed. I can see us go 3 - 0 but I doubt that Phoenix or Utah goes 1 - 2. Oh well, I hope Nash makes it and not the Jazz.

    I can see Phx going 1-2. They have a tough sched, but hard to imagine Utah going 1-2.

    IF Phoenix goes 1-2 the only win they can have for Houston to make it is at Utah. That means Utah will have to lose to Orlando tonight to have any real hope at a playoff spot. The Rockets can also be eliminated from playoff contention tonight if they lose and both the Jazz and Suns win. Unbelievable considering where we were on the day after Easter.

    We couldn't even beat the freaking Hornets. We do NOT deserve to make the playoffs.

    Hornets deserve more credit. They won 7 out of their last 10. They are the only top lottery team that is actualy winning games and doing great this late in the season. Eric Gordon= freakin awesome. I wish he had him instead at the 2.

    But yes I agree that we do not deserve to make the playoffs after all the horrible losses. But I won't mind if we still somehow make the playoffs

    Actually we can also make it over Denver too..if Denver loses to suns tonight..then if Denver loses its last 3 ...vs Orlando. at okc. and at Minn...we go.3-0....we in but we still need either jazz or suns to still go 1-2...hey there is still a chance and I'm not giving up int we are officially and mathematically out

    Phoenix is losing to denver so far, and Frye just got injured. Our playoffs hope have gotten 1% better

    Lol I saw that. I am praying Phoenix loses. I want to make the playoffs regardless, but not it is not likely to happen :(
