Hopefully this is the first offseason in a long time when the Rockets franchise finally get a direction.
It is as inconceivable as as the Rockets making the playoffs. Dallas is 3 losses back of the Hawks & Grizzlies with 3 games to go, and that is to tie for the #20 & #21 picks. They would still need to lose a coin flip after that to send that pick to Houston. Their losses to Lakers and Jazz killed our chances.
Draft Perry Jones and Austin Rivers, bring Motie over. Get rid of Pat, Martin, Daly and go all in on a PG! Whether it's Dragic or Lowry, pick one and stick with him! Dragic-Lowry/Rivers/Fortson Lee/Bud/Rivers Parsons/Morris Perry/Scola Motie/Camby
She still doesn't understand why they lose, because dad always says they're the best. She asks if the other team cheated, I tell her no, they just payed the refs...and she gives me the look and says, Dad, you can't do that. Love her. She is doing well after the surgery btw, and would've had at least 8 boards vs the Hornets...just saying.
Looking on the bright side, we can make a trade as early as next week. Also we get one more draft pick and most likely it won't be the 14th pick this year. And we won't get crushed by the Spurs. Yay.
Let's bring some people back and get some old Rockets love back in the organisation, starting with: - Fire McHale and bring in Cassell or Elie to be the head coach - Secondly, fire Drexler, ask Worrell if he wants to work together with his buddy again and give us fans some good old comedy and insight into the game again, i.e. bring back CALVIN MURPHY (Chappelle's Rick James' impression) :grin: - Thirdly, bring back Turbo in a new form to work together with the Bear. How about all gold yellow like honey Clutch can chase turbo around - Fourth, change the uni's and at least have red and gold, maybe some black in it as well. - Fifth, bring in Rafer as an assistant, he can get the guys fired up!
Couldn't be a worst time to hit the wall!! Was really hoping for the playoffs!! This team needs a MAJOR makeover & everybody could be available in trades. Lee's coming back with him being restricted & Dragic only if we trade Lowry which I hope we do to move up in the draft. Look to package anybody from the team to upgrade the team for an all-star caliber player. Likely picking #13 & #17 in the 1st rd! I hope Morey - trade with Portland using Lowry, #13, & other players to get Kidd-Gilchrist if he falls a bit - draft Meyers Leonard to pair with Motiejunas - really want to set ourselves up to trade for Harden at next years deadline using whatever picks & players we have minus MKG/Motiejunas/Leonard A full off-season training camp with Mchale will do the team some good especially after a lot of change. If the season ends in the same result then need a new coach in town!
