    KOBE BRYANT
    STEVE FRANCIS
    KEVIN GARNETT
    CHRIS WEBBER
    TIM DUNCAN
    Steve Nash
    Dirk Nowitzki
    Gary Payton
    Elton Brand
    Peja Stojakovic
    Wally Szczerbiak
    Shaq Oneal

    ALLEN IVERSON
    JASON KIDD
    MICHAEL JORDAN
    ANTOINE WALKER
    DIKEMBE MUTOMBO
    Ray Allen
    Paul Pierce
    Tracy McGrady
    Shareef Abdur-Rahim
    Jermaine O'Neal
    Alonzo Mourning
    Baron Davis

They are the all star players in 2002. I find that I would not even CONSIDER to trade yao ming for any of them except kobe, garnett, duncan, nowitzki, kidd and t-mac.
Just to assure myself that yao is that good already. Sorry for annoying u guys. I am a happy guy now. Thanks yao:D:D:D:D:D

The only trade POSSIBILITY for Yao is if you got either:

    paul pierce AND antoine walker
    OR
    kobe AND shaq
    OR
    finley AND nowitzky

i honestly think any other trade...would be VERY regretted in the future. Yao Ming is simply the next BIG THING in this league. And he'll definately be thought of as one of the Greatest Centers of All Time.

    That's a 3814 GUARANTEE!.

But hey...why even consider the 2 superstars for one...i mean...isn't:

    Franchise
    Cat
    Poser
    EG
    Dynasty

    enough?

This team is gonna be amazing! Top notch scorers in Francis/Cat/Yao with some help from the other two of course. And a top notch Twin Tower defense with EG and Yao.

    hahaha I think u r too greedy:D:D:D

    ming for kobe and shaq, then;

    franchise
    cat
    kobe
    EG
    shaq

it's 3 rings locked and i dont want to be too generous to kobe:D:D:D

Depends on what's your purpose of the trade. If you want to win rings, some of those trades might be good ones. For me, I just want to enjoy good basketball, and therefore I WILL NOT TRADE YAO MING FOR ALL THOSE STARS COMBINED. Sure I can tear up the world with those guys, but Yao's game is too addictive for me to give up. People are hyping how start LeBron is, hey, if that guy will be as nearly smart as the "dynasty", he is good enough for the hypes. Screws the Shaqs, Duncans, T-Macs and Kobes, I want my Yao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't even dream of trading Ming... The second most important thing to winning or a good players is the cash revenue it brings in.... and at this point, we have millions of fans across the world. That was probably the main reason Ming was brought over in the first place.

The ONLY reason I would trade Yao for anybody is if I had a time machine and saw him leaving us in the future. Garnett is the only one on that list who would make a similar impact on the Rockets for us, and his contract is so big it actually hurts a small market team instead of helps.

However, since trading Yao is a only if we are dreaming...let's say (Garnett signed for 10 Mill) + Ron Artest + a competent center...say Olowakandi (signed for 8 Mill) for Yao Ming, Mo Taylor, Glen Rice, and Moochie Norris. Yup, that would represent about equal value for me.

Now would I want to do that trade? Hell no! I love the Rockets the way they are, and I want to see the core grow into a dynasty.

And now that we have a lock-down type three on board, I think that my sig is even more appropriate (and I believe that the Rocket's management agrees with me).

WHY NOT US? WHY NOT NOW?

he's absolutely untouchable...i'd trade him for no one...no one at all...the potential is amazing. never trade a great big man for a great guard.

There's not a guy on that list I would trade Yao Ming for because none of them could make the impact on both ends of the floor right now that Yao Ming is doing. At age 22 no less. Even Garnett isn't doing that, that's why Minnesota has to run zones exclusively.

Jerry West is on record as saying that if he were in LA, he would do whatever is necessary to get Yao...implying that nobody on that squad is untouchable.

With Yao's rookie contract, there is nobody in the league that anybody w/ 1/2 a brain would trade with (from the Rocks point of view).

So please stop the Yao trade speculation. It won't happen.

    Nobody!!
Don´t trade Yao. He´will be better than all these. Though these people will need to shoot more than 20 shots per game, and that is not posible in this team.

Yao is a special player, and we have already the sucessor of "the dream" " ming the new dream"

Would your guys like to trade Yao for Francis if Steve is on another team? Even more, throw in another first round pick.

There is no way you trade Yao Ming, especially for someone like Shaq, who is damaged goods. His best years are behind him while Ming's are ahead. Leave the Rockets alone. I'm not sure if we really did well by trading K.T., but time will tell. Now, instead of a logjam at the 4 we have one at the 3.

I was disappointed when the Nuggets took Posey in the draft before the Rockets, but I've always been impressed with K.T.'s heart and desire. I hope he florishes in Philly. Posey will make the logjam at the 3 a very desirable thing for the Rox.
