http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NBA/Western/Southwest/Houston.html Right now we have a 35% chance to make the playoffs. If we win 5-0 we are 100% in, 4-1 90% anything less, Good game, see you next year
This photo is BEGGING for photoshop. Maybe have Nash, Aafalo, Gordon Hayward, Patrick Patterson, and Kevin Mchale as pallbearers....
We'll win 3 more at most against NO and Golden State. There's no way we beat Dallas or Miami. Not a chance
I'm still on the positive side but i'm teetering on the edge. I'm putting the last of my Rockets' hope in this Dallas game, if they lose, it might be better for my own sanity to skip Rockets, and anything related to them until the offseason. Unless of course they still somehow make the playoffs lol. Considering we lost the last 4 games, it wouldn't hurt to throw Kevin Martin out there to see if he can give us a lift somewhere. I hope Camby can play also, I want to see the team at full strength one last time before half of them get dealt in the offseason.
I think the Suns are gonna lose at least 3 of their remaining games, Jazz will lose at least 3. If we can win at least 3 there's still a chance.
Who knows, after 3 OT's today the old guys might not have the legs to compete with the younger Rockets. Wishful thinking, but it's all we've got in our favor at the moment, youth.
With chicago most likely winning the east Miami may be resting their players vs us.... or playing very limited minutes.. even if we lose to the Mavs we still could win the last 4
please tell me how you think the Jazz will lose at least 3. they play @ Portlawlnd Orland @ Utah Phx @ Utah Portlawlnd @ Utah they will go 3-1 for sure
Realistically It looks like they can go as worse as 2-3. The Hornets are kicking butt and taking names so it would'nt surprise me at all if they split the two games with the team. Then we have Miami which is still in the hunt for the number one seed in the east. Maybe by that day we play them we catch a break if they're locked in to the number 2 seed. One positive I would say about tonight compared to the other three games is that our shooting percentage is getting better but its not withstanding with the situation we're in and the lack of urgency. Missing Camby really hurt us tonight but why didn't Mchale played Dalembert over thirty mintues? He could've helped our interior defense in the crucial quarter in terms of preventing peneration and lay ups by the Denver guards. Plus we could've used a few extra baskets. It would've made the difference between us being 1/2 game from the sixth seed and us sitting on the outside looking in right now. I think the Jazz have the inside track at the final seed in the west. They might overtake the Nuggets and us based on their schedule and tie breakers. We need to win one more game than the suns at this point to make the playoffs.
That is incorrect. Since we have lost both tiebreakers to the Suns, we need the Suns to lose a game to get into the playoffs. While the number of times he ran the simulation it never occurred it is still possible.
All I know is, I want to be watching Rockets basketball in May. I need to see Houston in the playoffs this year.
or better... For example, Suns might be out of it by the time they play Utah after they lose to okc, clippers, and denver. They might be an easy win for utah. Now you also have porland which are two gimmies, and then orlando without dwight at home. I see 4-0 and it's not a stretch to say it. Jazz own Rockets tiebreaker so if rockets lose one game and jazz win all the jazz overtake them.
I made some good choices in my 5 teams for NBA league pass, HTown, Suns, Dallas, OKC, knicks < my bad
what brings me hope is that the next game jazz play against portland is portland's home finale so they might be trying to get one last win for the fans.
Hopefully all the people who jinx the Rockets will stop watching them now so they can go on a run. Remember this is Houston and over the past decade we never seem to make anything easy for making the playoffs (besides the Yao/TMac teams)
