my personal opinion is this: If we "barely" make it and have to be the 8th seed and us playing bad to then why would any of you want us to make the playoffs?? if we can't get it together and make another 4 game win streak run and move up to 6 seed then i'd rather miss the playoffs and get a lottery pick.. why would any of you guys wanna watch a 4 game sweep by OKC.. and don't say "we already beat them once" because that was regualr season and we all know playoffs and regular season are completely different..

Now, mybe these last 3 games have been a slump and all teams hit slumps, so if we step it up, lock in and stay focused i think we can move up past dallas into the 6th seed..

We really need to trade Patterson. I think we could get a good player(s) in a trade containing Patterson, Martin, and or Dalembert.

Starting Lowry is the beginning of the end of Dragic. If McHale gives the starting spot back to Lowry the eriting is on the wall. McHale and management think Lowry is the future. I can not think of anyway to spin that that would make Dragic believe he is our future. After trading once and never squashing future trade rumors replacing him with Lowry is the last nail on the coffin.

I am not saying it isn't the right thing to do to help us make the playoffs. I am not sure but I am sure it will have a major role on showing Dragic where he stands on this team. Knowing after he showed his best his best was still not good enough to maintain his starting role why would he want to sign withus when other teams will commit to starting him.

If they start Lowry over Dragic to end the season might as well release him now. He will never re-sign with us.

Get the W tonight and we'll be alright. Fans are just panicking at the moment. We're still in 8th seed with a much lighter schedule compared to the Suns.

Camby should rest that back, no need to rush, let's see what Dalembert can do as a starter, maybe that will get him going. He's the worst back-up center the rockets ever had, his effort and body language says it all.

The team needs to NOT have another lackluster third quarter. They've been outscored 67-33 in the last two games in that quarter. The mindset has to be to treat this game like a win or go home situation like the NCAA tournament. We beat Denver and we essentially clinched the tie breaker based on conference record (would have a 4 game lead in that department with only 5 to go). IF we lose that game with the Jazz and Suns winning, we would be in ninth place(same as the suns but behind them with 1 1/2 games difference in conference record) and I would say that are playoff chances are below 50 percent. The hornet games are not gimmes on that schedule either.

Hate to say it but might have been better if Lowry didn't return at all this season. Everything was fine until he came back, even the Kings & Blazers games we stank it up. Roles were clear, rotation was set, Boykins was starting to become valuable and contribute. Then next year we could've traded Dragic now that his value is at an all-time high, have Lowry & Boykins as PG rotation next year and we're golden.

[rQUOTEr]Rockets trainer Keith Jones said guard Kevin Martin will likely be in uniform and on the bench. It will be up to Kevin McHale if he plays. Kevin Martin has been out since March 11 with an injured shoulder. Since he hasn't practiced, doubtful he plays against Denver. Up to McHale[/rQUOTEr]

^Forgive me for not leaping for joy...bad back, you know.

Nah, I honestly do think Martin could hardly make things any worse at this point.
