Id take beal at 5. Trading lowry for him would definitely get the job done if we went to the kings or blazers. Sign gogi and lee back and let beal develop behind lee until he's ready to take over.

And if drummond somehow falls to 7 or lower, you gotta to make a move for him.

Are you honestly suggesting that you would rather have the owner and management from the Clippers rather than the owner and management of the Rocket's organization?

I am not losing any sleep over failing to land a max contract Bosh.

I think Cousins is the next Al Jefferson, putting up numbers for bad teams. If Sacremento becames good, it will be because of someone else they get in the future, not Cousins. Valanciunas could be a good player, but he could also end up being Marcus Morris, for all we really know. Actually, he's a tankers dream because he used a top 5 pick, and didn't help Toronto at all this year.

As for being in 5th place in the draft lottery, it's more likely that you'll end up 6th than 1st, 2nd, or 3rd combined. It's actually more likely you'll end up 6th than 5th.

WTF are you talking about? I am just pointing out that being a watchable team does not mean FAs sign up. Bosh would easily be our #1 player and first option/closer. People have forgotten how good he is being the third best player on the heat.

    Morey's Top 5 picks

Well I am thinking that the Rockets have the actual 5th pick...after the lottery is done in this scenario so....it all depends on Morey's top 5. First one is definitely A.Davis. No contest. So he ain't happening. I think Morey would rank Drummond over T.Robinson. I mean Robinson was the back up to the Morris twins. He is average height for a PF. How much of an upgrade is he to Patterson as of right now? Is he a upgrade at the moment? Everyone seems to love Bradley Beal and for good reason. He be the next Eric Gordon-esque player and Gordon can fill it up.

My guess on Morey's top 6-7...in a loose order
    2010 J.Wall, D.Favors, D.Cousins, G.Monroe, P.George, P.Patterson
    2011 K.Irving, E.Kanter, J.Valanciunas, D.Motiejunas, D.Williams, J.Fredette
    2012 A.Davis, A.Drummond, B.Beal, J.Lamb, H.Barnes, T.Robinson, P.Jones

I think Morey had Donatas in his top 5-10 but knew his value to other GMs would be down so decided to gamble on getting him later which worked. Same can be said about P.Jones III. Everyone is down on his stock. Probably try to steal him if he is late lottery or even falls out. He has the potential...go for homeruns(Motie, PJ3)...no more bunts and singles(Morris, Patterson). Don't see what the hoopla is for Jared Sullinger is. He is projected out of the lottery in some mock drafts. He really hurt his stock.

So I think Morey would likely get Drummond or Lamb if Drummond is drafted. Top 3 seems set in Davis, Robinson, and MKG. Depending on that 4th team needs would determine the pick. Either pick changes the dynamic of our team.
