    Remember Alex English?

A shooting balllerina with a high arching shot. He seemed to take off on the wrong foot or at the wrong time. But he managed to score a very high scoring averaging around 25 points a game.

I watched the feature on Alex English on the halftime-show during the Washington-Atlanta game.

I hope B. Nachbar has that touch and finesse that Alex English had. Of course, everyone's different so expect something else from Nachbar.

Yes, we could always use a hall of famer on the team.

It would be nice 2 have an Alex English type player.....however, alot of the young ones here at Clutch BBS probably don't know about this former Denver Nuggets STAR! Heck, I'm 34y.o. and I barely saw him play on T.V., but he was fun 2 watch, except 4 when he went against the ROXS!!!;) I've been a big ROXS fan since 1980 and this is the only team I ever rooted 4!!! Hopefully, Boki can come somewhat close:p ;) !

We need someone that doesn't play any defense?

Well of course since Alex English wasn't known for his defense, someone who could score like him and could also defend like Dennis Rodman would be nice.

I don't know though if there is a kind of player like that now.

    Oh well, just wishful thinking...

I lost all respect for Alex English after I saw "Amazing Grace and Chuck" therefore, I do not want someone like him on our team out of fear they might do a similar movie and embarass the organization. :p

IMO, Chucky Brown type would be the best fit , a blue-collar worker who are willing to do the dirty work and knock the 15-18 footer down when the oppotunity presents.

Maybe some of you don't remember this, but at one time the Rockets had signed English to a FA agent contract which was matched. Oh, rats.

That and drafting Bobby Jones and losing him to the Nuggets of the ABA really hurt.

    hehe!!!

dfbreyes,,,I like your second pick better...Dennis Rodman. Boy, what I'd give for Griffin to be that strong, quick and savvy.

    xlr,

I'd like Boki to match Kiki.
