    I agree . . .

Point guard, 2nd and 3rd sting, Rubio was good, but 2nd team good. I'm not quite sure, maybe 3rd team.

Chalmers can be devastating at times, but I think inconsistency left him off.

Where's Russell Westbrook, he's been great on defense, this season. Conley over Rondo and Westbrook.

Grant Hill has been an EXCELLENT DEFENDER over the last few seasons.

The selection should be made by the players. I think it's safe to say Kobe and Durant would give Parsons the first team nod.

ok, just don't see it, you guys have no valid argument against hollinger, he puts in the hardline advance stats, his word is almost like basketball gold, plain and simple. Its more than just a box score stats, I agree that lebron should probably be MVP, DPOY, All NBA 1st team, NBA DEf 1st team. I love that he got ibaka on 3rd when ibaka is not great 1-1, but more of an off ball shooting, but people see stats and want him to be no 1.
Hollinger got it right, most impressive and surprising has got to be Rubio and Avery Bradley, jsut bc they aren't exposed(bradley, until recently) (rubio, for his defense) and grant hil got his props which i am happy for.

Only one player on this team is a top scorer too, props to lebron, the GREATEST to play the game ever. I am sorry, i know this will be flame worthy, not only is he more likeable than MJ, but if htey went toe to toe, Lebron would both physically and in basketball skill make MJ look inferior. We are all witnesses ot the king, appreciate it while you can folks, hollinger doesn't have opinion, he has facts backed with actual stats

Didn't realize NYK was 4th in defense and 22nd in O. That can't all be from Woodson. Carmelo must really suck.

If half a season gets you the nod (Rubio), then Dragic should be on the list. He's a much better defender than Conley.

    Agree with A3PO on Sefalosha.

And despite all his stupid antics this season, Dwight Howard is the best defensive center in the NBA followed by Bogut (another half season guy).

I watch a solid amount of Grizzlies games. Tony Allen and Marc Gasol are more important than Mike Conley. Their athleticism allows Conley to gamble that much. I feel like OJ and Tony are better perimeter defenders.

My only gripe is that Tony Allen should be 1st team.

Actually Tony Allen gambles way more than Conley does. And, not picking on you personally, but this is a common misconception when it comes to the grizzlies defense. That it is the Tony Allen show.

This is part and parcel of Allen's gambling style: forward video to 3:38.

Allen was going for the steal instead of playing Kobe straight up and Kobe burned him.

The grizzlies D is stout with or without Allen because the grizzlies have great individual defenders who play d as a team. Even Marc, he is Bynum's b**** for most of their games.

The grizzlies win with their d because they do it as a team.

Wow his PGs are wack. Avery Bradley? The guy comes off the bench and on a nightly basis, faces reserves. Whether or not he is the best defensive PG in the game is irrelevant since it is difficult to show that in limited minutes (mostly against reserves). Rubio has missed too many games. And Conley? Please.

Tony Allen should be on the first team.

I know this is a cliche, but it applies ......

    James couldn't hold MJ's jock.

Avery Bradley starts now, but at shooting guard. Ray ray has moved more into a 6th man role.

James is better than Michael Jordan defensively.

Jeffries is a better defender than most people think.

Chandler Parsons should be at least honorable mention.
