I usually agree with you, but I do not care what Cousins wingspan and standing reach are, he plays below the rim and relies on cunning and skill more than just sheer explosiveness.

Really? How do you figure that? 6'11, 270 is overweight?

Paul Westphaul was an absolute idiot. He couldn't coach worth a damn. Notice how Cousins broke out after he left.

Yes, right now Bynum is the better player both offensively and defensively. He has five years in the league over Cousins, he very well better be. Watch out in a few years though. And hell no to Bynum on the Kings. The guy is a complete tool.

One has / had Kobe and Pau for the rings and appearances.

    The other has Tyreke Evans.

I'd take Bynum though. Although Kobe is still top dog (and probably will be until he retires), Bynum is starting to become the number one option on the Lakers.

I don't want an injury prone asshat like Bynum in Houston... Although he's managed to stay fairly sturdy lately, but he's still a douchebag.

Because some folks go by what perception tells them instead of reality. Reality says Cousins isn't overweight if you watch him play.

Bynum all day. He's bigger and more dominant in the post. If you do not double team him, he will score on you. He blocks a couple of shots a game and changes more than a few.

He's immature at 24...so what? Who wasn't immature at that age? If some of you are giving Cousins a free pass for being a petulant malcontent because his coach was Paul Westphal, then why is Bynum being penalized for being far less malicious with an equally inept coach?

Lastly, his game is becoming more and more based in the post, where his moves do not require a ton of athleticism. His size and footwork are all he needs to stay elite. I do not see him missing a lot of time from here on out.

Cousins tries to shake and bake and fire up fadeaways when he should be banging in the post and punishing defenders. He's a good player but he's not on Bynum's level.

Demarcus Cousins is unstoppable. If the Kings figure out to give him the ball on EVERY damn play the Kings would be in the playoffs.

Guy has the mental strength of a 10 year though. You can see it in his eyes, his face, body language. He just doesn't have the mental make-up.

How is this still being debated?

Cousins in his SECOND year is already putting up similar to better numbers then Bynum in his SEVENTH year. Not to mention that Cousins still hasn't refined any of his moves in the post yet, the guy is still raw in comparison to what he could become.

Cousins as a rookie, against the Lakers front line (Bynum and Gasol)

Bynum, for all his talent, is starting to remind me of one Michael Olawakandi with his crap attitude.

Cousins. But, for now, I'm very pleased with our two centers . They're diving on the floor, blocking shots-- as long as they're doing that, we're good at the C position.

The starting center and the only rim protector for a championship team is different from a bench warmer. The Lakers would not have won without Bynum.
