Lowry is a crazy warrior dog. I really DO NOT want to trade him. I'm beginning to think more and more that we need to re-sign Dragic and Lee, go get Garnett to pair with Camby, bring over Motie and find one other 6'6" to 6'8" defensive player that can drain 3's from the perimter and we should just go to war next season with that group. Lowry, Dragic, and Parsons along with Lee is some nasty, nasty defense on the perimeter. I mean filthy nasty out there. Dragic and Parsons just bring it on the defensive end and I think those two combined with Lowry's dog mentality and ability to read what is going on on the floor defensively is a perimeter defensive juggernaut.
I don't think so. I still think he has high potential and could become that piece. Will be interesting to see where and how he spends his summer. That tells a lot about a player in my opinion and if they are going to be developed to their max.
Did anyone noticed yesterday the way Lowry complained to the Ref. He was standing near the Free throw line still whinning LOL. Mchale likes get out of there.
Camby/Garnett/Dmo Garnett/Scola/Patterson Parsons/Morris/Bud Dragic/Lee Lowry/Dragic This team would contend. We feasibly could make it happen if we amnesty or trade Kmart.
Most of us aren't huge fans of small backcourts. Even when they work we rationalize it in some way, but I don't think Lowry & Dragic has anything to do with matchups. The first few times McHale put them in together he made it sound like he did it out of necessity, and made it clear it wasn't "genius at work" and was surprised the combo "worked that well". Defensively they're both bulldogs; so much so that our interior defense can see/react to where the penetration has to go. Even Luis . Sure 2's can shoot over them, but they still have to expend some energy just having to deal with those guys. Offensively, they wear people out even if they're not shooting well. They seem to make their teammates seem to move quicker (Even Luis . Back OT, Kyle looks lke he's about 10 days away from looking like himself, but I'm impressed with how he's played in the last two games.
