I was at the houston miami game last night and I thought I should post my observations here: The Good: Two good things I saw in this game were Francis and Griffin. Before Franchise twisted his ankle in the third quarter, he was playing amazing! He made some great decisions and when he knew no1 else was goin to step up, he took control of the game! He slowed the offense down when they needed to and he made some nice passes. Eddie Griffin had a great game. He had some key blocks and played some great D. He also got some crucial rebounds. On the other hand, he does nothing but shot 3's on offense. But he has all the ablilties to be an amazing player. The Bad. Moochie! The Rockets (Francis mainly) were dominating the game in the third quarter before Franchise got hurt. As soon as Mooch came in the game, Miami took over. He dribbles 'til theres about 9 seconds left on the clock then makes some nasty pass or shoots himself. He needs to be at the end of the bench, not Bostjan!! Man D- at times the Rockets looked great on Defense. I noticed when Griffin Cato and Hawkins were on the court together with Francis and Rice, they played very good Defense! but then again, most of the game the D was horrendous(sp?) don't let the score fool you, Miami had like 9 or 10 open shots that they missed! If Miami was a good shooting team, The rocks would of gotten blown out! Ming looses his Man on D all the time! But i know they are still young so its ok 4 now! The ugly Did you guys see the crossover Best had on Franchise!?!?! it was nasty! but Francis got him back, Francis, when he wants to, dominates the game. I know there are so many people out there that hate francis, all i gotta say is without Francis, the Rockets are nothing!!!! Go Rocks!
I got my fortune cookie! EG#1, I did see that crosssover Best put on Francis and it was kinda nasty. The spin move Ming put on Grant was even more embarrasing though. It was an interesting game w/ a great finish. I posted my observations on my Plea to the BBS thread so no need to repeat it. It was defenitely a fun game and it was worth the C I will probably get on my property law final Wed. since I wasn't studying.
I got two fortune cookies. That was a great game, my heart was pounding from the last 5 minutes of the fourth until it was over. Now the Heat and Rockets need to make it to the finals so I can go to more games.
There is a Rox fan that shouted very loud in the crowd. Wonder if your guys noticed it. Miami fans were really quiet until the 4th quarter.

sry for double postin but there was a guy next to me and my dad at the game. Kinda a older man, mid-to late30's id say. I noticed he had a Houston newspaper and the only time he got excited was when Francis hit the three. He had pen and notes and was writting throughout the game, j/w if thats any of u guyz! i was the kid in all royal blue adidas!
