Landry? Really? At least Boki or Langhi were not included, they'd probably be top 5. Sigh. I loved me some Elie.
It should be hands down between two guys. The Dream and Yao. You could not dislike either no matter how hard you try.
Definitely up there, but there are two guys who deserve so much love you can't even consider anyone else. If I had to rank Dream Yao Battier Those three are probably on everyones top 3 or 4. If I was to keep going on my personal list... Hayes Deke NACHBAR!!!! Barry The Alien Cat (not Cato) Sura Adelman McGrady
If your uniform is retired in the TC.. you arent an EX-Rocket.... you are a Rocket. If you won a championship with the Rockets... you ARE a Rocket. If you retired in a Rockets Uniform.... you ARE a Rocket. -Based on that you are looking at Hall of fame players like Ralph Sampson, Moses Malone, Elvin Hayes, etc. -Then you have the other Hall of Famers that came through in the 90's... Barkley, Pippen -Then you have the former All-Stars that played with Houston that never won anything... McGrady, Francis -Then you have all the recent Role players 90's to 00's.... Battier, Chuck Hayes, Wesley, J. Howard, Sura, etc. Based on role players who are still active, or recently retired in the past decade NOT on the Rockets I would say Shane Battier. In the former All Star Level I would say Steve Francis still would have the popularity even with his off the court issues. Hall of fame players from the 90's- Barkley Hall of fame players from the ages beyond- Moses Malone even though Elvin Hayes should be.
he had a great personality while he was a rocket. his doctor must have figured out his dosage correctly while he was in houston.
since the rules to this thread is a little confusing.. here's mine anyways.. (not including the HOF's like Hakeem and Clyde, etc) Sam Cassell (everytime I think Sam, I think of his ball hugging dance and it makes me LOL) Robert Horry (more rings than Jordan. ) Jim Peterson (the white Ron Artest) Carl Landry (took a bullet and tooth for the team) I'd put Shane on here but he sold out.
