And you are taking Scola stats for the whole season, that are watered down because of his struggles to get into his best shape after the knee injury.

Right now, Scola is no worse player than Gasol overall IMO, Gasoft is really on his way down. If you analyze beyond the pure numbers, Gasoil doesn't contribute the hustle, leaderships and intangibles Scola brings to the table.

For a young team like the Rockets, it would do far more harm than good having a softie like him with lack of attitude, knowing the rest of the team that he would be the highest paid of the roster by far.

If Gasol plays with lack of heart for the Lakers (the flashy franchise he was desperate to go when he was on the Grizzlies), can you imagine his attitude on the Rockets, a franchise he was reluctant to go (even in Spain that was obvious)?

For all those facts, Gasof to the Rockets would have been VERY harmful to the mid/long term of the franchise, IMO.

Only thing he has on scola is height.....dude they both score bout the same and scola outside shots are better...but its just height that is all...rebounds.

This has been the week of repeated threads. "Would you do the trade now?"
    "Dragic or lowry"

Can't argue with this logic. This is why if Miami offered us Lebron for Scola+Lowry, Morey should laugh in their face because Scolowry >>>> Lebron with their beastly 32.5 points 14 rebounds 9 assists 2.5 steals stat.

Shove this thread up your ass. And anyone who still wants Gasol over Scola, shove the OP up your ass.
