Camby and dragic are always looking for scola in crunch time. With Lowry and Sammy they forgot about him.
I love scola! This always happens. Next time he has a bad game, we will all hate him. For now, he is amazing
I've never heard of someone rocking a 28" vert having "mad hops"... Oh wait, there was that one time at the YMCA...
One game? Did you notice his stats over the last TEN GAMES? And such stats are even more impressive when you check the minutes. If you extrapolate to 36.40mpg, they're almost superstar numbers. That's without taking into account the intangibles Luis brings every game (BB IQ, leadership, hustle). Plase check your facts before trying to diminish Scola's value.
DreamShook when will you answer? Did you check the +/- stats (apart from the traditional stats that favored heavily to Scola)? Scola +23 Ppat -16 Will you still say the same after seeing that? ANSWER please.
In that case...I like it. I always wondered how Luifa could be so physical with quick feet on offense but that never translated on the defensive side. As the season has progressed, you see luis now returning the bang as the offensive player initiates the contact, when he used to Ole or fall to draw a charge. Also, at 2000000 years old luis is now covering alot of ground when he is defending the pick and roll. Has even caused a couple of loose balls.
Morey keeps on trying to trade him, and Scola will probably be traded this off-season, but his drive never diminishes..

After Rockets' short practice in Sac, @LScola4 stayed behind for drills w a coach, Brett Gunning. Problem is you can't start him and Martin. You can't have 3 players trying to cover up defensive lapses caused by two one way players, but you can have 4 helping one out.
