Who do you guys think will win get the spots. Besides the PG position the other spots are up for grabs.

    First Team:
    PG: Irving
    SG: Marshon Brooks
    SF: Leonard (More popular)
PF: I think Faried has done slightly better than Thompson, but that's my opinion
    C: Biyombo

    Second Team:
    PG: Rubio
    SG: Burks
    SF: Parsons
    PF: Thompsons
    C: Nikola Vucevic

Their doesn't have to be a C for all rookie teams.
    1st Team
    Irving
    Rubio
    Brooks
    Faried
Parsons (probably my homerism but I think he has a legit shot.)

    2nd team

    Leonard
    Thomas
    Thompson (Klay)
    Shumpert
    Thompson (Tristan)

True. I still count him as a rookie anyway because nobody really knew he existed until his real rookie season which is this year ;)

Brooks has fallen off and he's not on many rookie rankings right now. Guy has style but his bball IQ questionable and that defense is no good.

THere are 3 locks for the first team: Irving, Rubio, Faried imo. If Thompson counts as forward, he too is a lock.

Not entirely sure how positions work.

If Faried counts as a center and Thompson counts as a forward:
    G: Irving
    G: Rubio
    F/G: K.Thompson
    F: Parsons or Leonard
    F/C: Faried

    G: I.Thomas
    G: Brooks
    F: Leonard or Parsons
    F: T.Thompson
    C: Biyombo

If Faried does not count as a C but Thompson counts as a forward-
    G: Irving
    G: Rubio
    F/G: K.Thomspon
    F: Faried
    C: Biyombo

    G: I.Thomas
    G: Brooks
    F: Parsons
    F: Leonard
    C: Kanter? Vucevic? Scrub?

If Thompson counts as a guard but Faried counts as a center
    G: Irving
    G: Rubio
    F: Parsons
    F: Leonard
    C: Faried

    G: I.Thomas
    G: K.Thompson
    F: T.Thompson
    F: D.Williams
    C: Biyombo

If Thompson counts as a guard and Faried can not count as a center
    G: Irving
    G: Rubio
    F: Faried
    F: Parsons or Leonard
    C: Biyombo

    G: I.Thomas
    G: K.Thompson
    F: Leonard or Parsons
    F: T.Thompson
    C: Kanter? Vucevic? Scrub?

Knowing the NBA, the first team will probably end up being:

Irving / Rubio / K.Thompson / (Leonard or Parsons or Biyombo. More than likely Leonard) / Faried

Isn't Rubio out for the season? He's played 41 games, is that enough to be considered for the Rookie teams?

I agree, I had him on my fantasy team and had to drop his useless ass.

Isn't the rookie team composed of 5 best rookies regardless of position?

    Did not know that.

    If that is the case:

Irving, Rubio, I. Thomas, K.Thompson, Faried first team
Parsons, Leonard, Brooks, Biyombo, (T.Thompson or D.Williams)

    imo

yes, so this thread is somewhat misguided in voting.

And because of that, Parsons will make 1st team.

Curry, Evans and Jennings all made first team the same year.
Rose, Westbrook and Mayo did too.

And in contrast, no one under 6'8 made it in Durant and Scola's year.
Durant, Scola, Horford, Jeff Green and Al Thornton.

I think he should but with Irving/Rubio as locks, NBA.com (rookie ladder) seems to be pushing Klay Thompson, Kenneth Faried and Isiaih Thomas hard. They even have Kawhai Leonard ranked above Chandler (smh).
