    I think there will be busts regardless. Adding a year wouldn't prevent busts. However, I do think players would be more prepared coming in. And if they were a bust, they would be one year closer to completing a degree.

    I don't know of any way to prove it with in-depth stats, but I think because college is a transitional game between high school and the NBA, it allows players to grown mentally and physically into a player that is more ready to play professionally. I think the basketball IQ is much easier to obtain in a transition stage than trying to grow in size and learn how to play at the same time in the most talented league.

    It's fine how it is.

    Maybe the NCAA should be asking themselves "How can we make it better for the players?" instead?

    The whole "They should be grateful they are getting an education." thing ain't going to work.

    MKG, Robinson, Davis...what they need a high level education for? All the one and done guys are bonafide NBA players that are about to get larger paychecks than most students coming out of college are going to get. They have already succeeded in life (now they may spend all that money away but that's their problem) and if they bust they should still be living great life being a NBA bench player.
