No I won't support it. I want Gogi to stay, but organizing a group of possibly 100 people voicing that they want him to stay won't change his mind. If he wants to be here he will stay.

I predict that things are going to get dicey on this board over the resigning of Dragic. Morey will play his usual wait and see game, the only problem is that unlike Lowry, Landry and Scola he is unrestricted and could end up being in high demand (I can see the Lakers making a hard push). I can see us losing him in the pursuit of another player or perhaps trading Lowry on draft night in order to make room for him as the starter.
Did you guys know Goran Dragic was drafted by the Spurs? Do they every make a darn mistake aside from Scola?
Am i the only one that doesn't see signing Dragic as an issue once Martin is traded? Our offense has taken absolutely no hit with him on the bench. Sign Dragic to lowry money. Dragic is our 6th man. Lowry/Dragic Lee/Dragic/Bud Parsons/Bud/Morris Scola/Patterson/Donuts Camby/Dalembert/Donuts 11 man rotation.
thats the plan... resign CLee and Dragic - together w KLow....3 guards coverin 96 min = 32 min each.... all for about 18-20M/yr... buy a second round pick to pickup a young sg to develop....
He was drafted by spurs but u must know that suns payed 1 or 2 mill for him because other teams might drafted him before suns could... steve kerr drafted him and if he gets GM spot in portland im 100 % Shure that he ll go all in for dragon :S
Money talks. Make the offer make him uncomfortable enough try any other place but returning. If they try to lose players and constantly turn over our roster while not keeping these young guys? Then their plan is flawed. They are not trying to seriously win or build by losing guys like Lee and Dragic for nothing.
hmm didn't know about the GM spot for Kerr with POR but i still feel the reason for the Goran trade was because of bad blood between Kerr and the jeebers of PHX. very interesting
Your view makes sense, no doubt. But I don't think it's consistent with Morey's. To Morey, any non-star player must have a great impact per dollar. Once a player becomes too expensive and waters down that ratio, Morey will say goodbye. I hope I'm wrong though, maybe Morey sees the same impact from Dragic that we do.
