I'm excited to see most of those but if I had to pick one, it has to be Dark Knight Rises.

I like you, fellow nerd. ;)

    Nerds Unite!

(If this were a "for the whole year" poll, I'd say, Throw in some Hobbit action. But I'd still go with the Dark Knight.)

I'm pretty stoked for The Avengers, but The Dark Knight Rises is the winner by a mile.

Avengers. I can't take my kid to Batman or Promethius.

I always want to let the poll get a head start, but I've realized this week that it isn't Avengers or Batman for me.

It's Prometheus by a mile. I think that what they're doing with it is bigger, deeper, and more creative than anyone - including Nolan. And it looks like the execution is awe-inspiring. I'm looking forward to DKR....but I think Ridley Scott is going to deliver a film that stands shoulder to shoulder with the first two Aliens...and maybe surpasses them on a thematic level.

    Prometheus

I'll probably watch Avengers and DKR, but I'm too burned out by superhero movies already.

    I disagree.

No one can hear your kid crying, IN SPACE!

    Prometheus.

    Plot summaries comparison:

    1. Dude in tights rides around on his souped-up Harley, has mommy issues/pre-laryngitis.
    OR:
    2. Man acquires fire from the gods, screws over the gods, is forced for eternity to have his liver plucked out by a pissed off Death Eagle, the most b---in' of all immortal vengeance birds! (Also: possible chest-bursters/Sigourney Weaver underwear callbacks.)

    Screw Batman. Totally Prometheus.

Probably won't watch any of them in the theater, unless it's still somehow showing at Thanksgiving or Christmas, but enough of a Hathaway fan that I'll eventually torrent or stream DKR.

No love for Spidey? I hate all the Spider-Man movies but the preview looks badass.

The same movie came out like 2 years ago man. That would be like remaking the Departed and having it come out next year.
