Some good old school defense (Jordan vid)

    Jordan did exactly what kobe did, played D up when he had to and coasted the rest of the time. They jsut had to focus on their offensive duties, he was incredibly intelligent in defense as is kobe and so they just made it work

    Very interesting. Makes you wonder about all of the two-way greats. Talking about those who are not known to give up on a defensive play yet remain elite on the offensive end.

    First two names that come to mind are Hakeem and Lebron.

    Another thing to consider are the differences in playing/defending the post versus a wing or guard.

    Jokes aside, there is nothing Jordan was just above average at - he was top level at everything.

    Jordan was a better defender than LeBron is.

    Him and Hakeem are usually regarded as the best two way players.
