Would anyone buy Classic Rocket/Non Rocket NBA game DVDs if they were released?

I am just curious--but would anyone be interested in buying Classic Rocket/Non-Rocket NBA Games on DVD (that are shown in their entirety with possible pre-game and post game stuff etc.....) if they were actually released and marketed by the NBA.

Of course these DVDs would be just like watching a full game how it was on TV--except they would have crystal clear quality and would not degrade.

Does anyone think a market like this would be effective? Would people shell out money for these games? Would any of you shell out money for CLASSIC NBA Games?

Yeah, I think I would. I'm supposed to be getting "Clutch City" and "Double Clutch" pretty soon, but I still think it would be neat to have full games. I'd also love to be able to get some full games from other championship games and teams. Great idea, IMO!!!

I sure as hell would. I do not know why the NBA wouldn't consider it. Watching the actual game is where you truly live in the moment, not watching the highlight films.

It would be just great, but then what will I do with the hundreds of Rocket video tapes, recorded over the years!

I wish the NBA would sell games from the 80's. They have every game on tape stashed in a vault in new jersey. The NBA would make a lot of money doing this and as we know the NBA is a business first and a sport second. DVD copies would be even more convenient for them if they could be dubbed in high speed. I would love to get Rockets games from 84 to 90.

I love to have them. I had a chance awhile back to get them....though not officially licensed or anything ;). I couldn't come up with the cash at the time.
