He's essentially equal to what Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh do on their radio shows, as what Simon Cowell did on American Idol and X-Factor. For the most part, there's a crowd out there that enjoys that kind of shock value towards things.
I did think it was funny when Skip bayless called out Chris Broussard for being a LeBraahhhhn fan.. That was gold.
HA-HA woody Paige takes a shot at Skip (Not a big fan of Woody either he should of retired a long time ago) <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/L2sr7gssfN8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Regardless, I still think OKC should have traded Westbrook for someone that fits the team better. Either that or let Westbrook run two and get a true PG. Nash to sign with OKC imo.
ESPN needs to decide whether they should present themselves as professional journalists or tabloid sensationalists. They could choose either way and could be successful in targeting certain audience. Pretending to be mainstream media while allowing irresponsible sensationalism is just lack of integrity. I don't know why sports journalism is in such a mess. Real professional sports writers should shun any outlet that allows unprofessional stuff.
Is he talking about a singular team - or a collection of individuals that make up a team? i dont no but thats some serius gramer question's.
Durant just added ratings for Skip. He does things like this to get people to listen, and once players respond, people tune in to see if he answers back. Skip is an epic troll.
Espn hasn't changed; the world has. Kids don't care for espn anymore. It's your father's network and no amount of format changing is going to change that. It is what it is. Deal.
I fear what I might do if I ever see an ESPN show hosted by Stuart Scott, featuring Bayless, Stephen A. Smith, Dan Le Batard, Scoop Jackson and Chris Broussard!
It has nothing to do with old or new. Most other media outlets pretty much have a clear line drawn between serious journalism or tabloid type stuff. The former would never tolerate anything resembles the latter or they would lose their credibility instantly. Only sports journalism mixes the two and get away with it.
I don't believe it hasn't changed. It has evolved in the types of stories and the proportion of each sport / each player that it covers. No deal.
It doesn't matter what else he does, Skip Bayless will always be epic for his role in making this: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/zMK9FKMG3Nc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
