remember that time when HBO put up an episode a full week ahead of schedule? Sunday came around and those same folks watching it early were fresh out of Game of Thrones; had to wait 2 weeks for a direwolf/dinklage fix. I think I'll wait.
Seriously. I mean, it'd be cool if they had designated accents for northerners, westermen, southerners and such, but it's not a big deal to me at all. Though I do suspect the Dornish characters will have a bit of an accent when they come into play.
I'm pretty sure the promise would be telling Jon Snow true parentage and that would be of Spoiler RHAEGAR TARGARYEN AND LYANNA STARK . Benjen Stark I'm pretty sure is still alive and I also believe that he knows Jon true parentage also. Great start off for the second season by the way. Damn, I really need to reread the series up to A Storm of Swords. It's been 12 yrs last time I've read it and I'm forgetting almost everything. I guessed it's kind of good in a way because I might be getting good surprises in the second season.
Wow. Someone's head is going to roll for this. HBO must be very unhappy. And now I'm off to watch it!
Okay, second episode was considerably better than the first. One little gripe and one thing I particularly liked: The gripe is that in the scene with Tyrion and Janos, they cut out the bit where Tyrion sweet talks him into naming five gold cloaks he thought worthy of elevation, and then ships them off as well. I particularly liked how he did that in the book, so it was too bad it got cut. Overall that scene wasn't nearly as satisfying as I'd hoped it would be. What I really liked was the actor they got to play Balon Greyjoy. He was fantastic.
Might want to spoiler anything pertaining to episode 2. Not everyone's going to watch early. Spoiler What did you think of the decision to make Bronn LC of the Watch? I kind of liked it.
Spoiler I'm fine with it. Anything that makes Bronn more prominent works for me. Yara didn't look correct to me. I thought she would be more of a warrior woman. Guy who plays Yoren is awesome. Give him more work. Ghost looked great
Episode 2 ending: Spoiler That scene wasn't in the books, but loved that they actually showed the Other taking Craster's baby. More scenes with the Others, the better.
I read they were getting her better wigs this year, but she doesn't look as "tired" as she did last year, I agree. Botox?
I don't remember that scene in the book, but it feels like it might have happened. I think that scene is there to highlight the one thing Littlefinger loses his cool for, "the older sister".
