that's awesome but i consider nin more of a 90's thing since it was late 80's like 1989.

Probably the worst video to show how the 80's didn't 'eff around'....pathetic lip sync...didn't know Reznor was a pioneer in that respect...

lol @ 1:13. :p Not quite their "target" audience there

I want to think its more some Dance Party USA production parameters they had to follow.

Even if it wasnt, NIN couldnt lose. Either they go on there and own doing it their way. Or they get their irony feel in by mocking their cheesy mode.

Are you somehow implying that Dance Party USA was, gasp, staged?

    Why, I never...

I don't like a lot of music, but Pretty Hate Machine is in my top ten. Still holds up to this day. Track after track, it's damn good.

Hear ya man. Sin is my favorite on that album. The tempo mixed with the darkness of the mood is just epic

Trent Reznor, rock god, was in a ----ty band called "The Exotic Birds?" Opening for Culture "Do You Really Wanna Hurt Me" Club? Led by Boy George? In Cleveland, of all places?

    Wha?

I'm suffering the same kind of cultural shock as when I first saw gangsta rap icon Dr. Dre performing "surgery" in his younger days, in the World Class Wreckin Cru':
