Well I was no Tom Brokaw either on it. I only did a couple of stories and my role was the goofy dumb kid who set up the smart kid with the real answers. Since they paired me with a black girl who played the smart kid I think the idea was to challenge the stereotype of Asian males being great at science and African-American girls not being so much. I vaguely remember I had lines like "Wow I bet that shark eats a lot of hamburgers!"
Man... my childhood memory places are disappearing. Sea-Arama looks like a total post-apocalyptic crack head dump... 'Stroworld is completely gone... Gulfgate is now a cookie cutter shopping center... But the sites are great! Good memories! I had forgotten the bumper sticker thing at Sea-Arama.. yes it's true, visors down meant "no thanks" on the sticker. Brilliant marketing by the way, if you didn't hack off a Chevette driver. Man.. I never realized until going again recently (to DW) how much of a brilliant rip-off of DisneyLand/World it was at AstroWorld. Especially the Magic Kindom lay out... Even had the overhead cable cars... like DL -
Thought I would bring this thread back from the dead after 5 years to see if there is anything else out there that's been put online since '07...
