Yeah...I ended up dropping him a few days ago :(

My team could've won it with him in a league of 14...without him I'm not sure.

Cleared to workout means he still has at least a couple more weeks of conditioning before he's back in game shape... don't get too excited guys.

    Not too sure about that.

I can see him coming in and playing spot minutes here and there.

    We need bodies.

I'm not so sure about that. He said that he's still recovering from that groin injury as well.

Great! If we do make the playoffs we'll need him.

Conditioning is the least of my worry. Have you ever been in a hospital on meds for weeks before? Usually you lose massive weight and that includes some muscle weight. Loss of strength can be a real problem for the way Kyle plays. Since it's impossible to weight train during the playoffs to help him with his strength, and he can always play himself back into game conditioning by gradually increasing his minutes, he probably needs to bulk up instead of condition.

Let's face it.... if Westbrook can bully Kyle, that won't be an enjoyable first round. Loss of weight could help him with Tony though, but since he isn't ever going to be as quick as Parker, I'd like him to keep his size on him, it's just a part of Kyle's game so I hope he didn't lose it.

You know what I meant. If he lost 10 pounds he can't be on a treadmill all day conditioning and expect to gain that weight back by the time the playoffs come around. You can't weight train hard during the playoffs because there's no recovery time for your body. So all I'm saying is he should focus more on the weight training side of conditioning than the normal endurance side during his time not playing like you suggested.

Even the response earlier about playing time relates the idea that conditioning is focused on endurance and stamina. Come on.... be normal, I was just making a small point.

Good for Kyle but a catheter? Wow, that is some pretty serious stuff.

I hope he doesn't rush back, he needs to think of his health before the team.

He'll be able to put on a good 8 pounds quickly just from eating food again. Much of his weight loss was from not eating and not due to lack of training.

I wouldn't expect him to do anything too challenging until he's completely cleared. Too much exercise is a stressor and can lower immunity, so he shouldn't be doing that for now....probably will be back in 2 weeks, at the earliest.

So I read somewhere that he didn't eat for like a week? What does he get for food...injected food? Liquidated nutrients?
