    That price tag is OUTRAGEOUS. I understand they're a timeless franchise and brand.. But $2 BILLION?? Unreal!

    Anyone know how it is that Magic can keep his HIV virus from becoming full blown AIDS? The man must be a walking miracle compared to others.

    I hope you've "googled" Magic by now because you'd find out about his various businesses. He is involved in so many businesses I can't keep track.
    Last I heard, he also got into the food service business(competing w/ Aramark) with his sodexomagic group.
    He is involved in/with 24 hour fitness, Starbucks, and other businesses.

    Plus, as the front man for the bid, one would figure his fraction of the ownership cost was probably less than the others(High tens of millions? Couldn't be over a hunnerd mill).

    Out of all the partners Magic did not put up the bulk of the money, but is acting as the face of the group, for obvious reasons.
