Three (count 'em) wins in a row for the Grizzlies. This matches the longest winning streak in franchise history!! This is so sad. I remember one year they started the season 2-0 and they advertised as "the league leading Grizzlies" Any other Grizzlies fans out there?
I am a fan of the Grizz. Im glad to see they are doing well, even though they are in our division. That team has too much talent not to succeed. Gasol is one of my favorite players. That being said, Friday's game is no gimmee for us. Memphis is playing much better. I hope they Rockets arent feeling too good about themselves after the Kings game.
They have the longest current winning streak in the Western Conf. and the second longest current winnking streak in the league. The streak ends this Friday! B
I had forgotten the next game was Grizz/Rockets Please don't slap me with a "wrong forum" spanking...
They are definately a dangerous team...Hope the Rockets aren't too over-confident. It will be a good test to see if they can keep up their intensity against a team all the stat sheets say they should beat. GO ROCKETS!
And the Rockets also hadn't beaten a winning team until they beat Seattle, on the road, on a Friday night...
I, too, like the Grizzlies. They're maybe my second or third favorite team behind the Rocks. I also like Denver. With the exception of Houston teams, I always seem to like underdogs. I thought Sidney was terrible. Hubie is just what that team needs. I doubt Hubie coaches more than 2 or 3 years, but when he leaves, the core will know how to play.
Looks like I have to eat my words. Hubie is for real. He has White Chocolate playing under control. This loss hurts. B

I'm a big hubie brown's fan... i think the grizzles are only going to get better, but that probably doesn't say much
Jwill under control? LMAO! Did you see the circus shots he made that game? I'm talking, fadeway 3 pointers moving laterally and off one foot! PUUULEASE! He was shooting out of his mind, so was Person, even though Person is a great shooter...but he was making almost everything he put up, and then that high arcing 3 at the end?! whatever. The Grizz shot lights out and we still took them to OT. Yao had a down game and wasn't very aggressive like he has been lately, Steve made some really bad turnovers and missed freethrows in the end, and cat missed some FT's he'd normally make in the end. I have no doubt that the rox will remember this game and pound Memphis the next 3 games we play them. The Grizz ARE an improved team, but they still aren't very good, they were just lucky one day.
