Watching him whiff a layup or two a game is tough on my mental state. Sucks he regressed.

Morey has gotta get better in the lottery...Morris, Patterson, and trading away Batum is not overly spectacular to say the least

One game!? This BIG ASS HULKING BEHEMOTH OF A MAN gets tossed around EVERY game. Go back and watch that Thunder game, PPat was getting worked for rebounds all night even when he had PERFECT position. The last play of the game Ibaka tossed him aside to get the offensive rebound. Luckily, PPat had the presence of mind to swat it away, disaster averted.

PPat is SOFT and it is very frustrating.

Some one, ANY ONE, tell me something besides his shot that is consistently awesome in his game, anything will do.

Batum wasn't a lottery pick. And his draft rights trade paved the way for the Rockets getting Artest, because the Kings wanted Greene.

I thought his game was above the rim? Now he doesn't play above or below the rim. I don't wanna here about his injury- blah, blah. He needs to man-up and dunk something besides a donut.

Patterson seems more comfortable at the center position than the PF spot this season. Could be that's because his mobility has yet to return after his injury, and this is less of a problem when he's playing center.

Hopefully, he'll return to 100% sometime this season.

He needs more confidence in the post.

    He's a sophomore, it's a sophomore slump.

All the athleticism is there for him to dominate. He's just rushing, as other posters have noted. I was at the game tonight, and yes he was a big liability when he touched the ball on offense, but two positive to take from this: 1. he hasn't let his offensive game affect his defense which is still solid one-on-one at least; and 2. he's not lost confidence in attempting his post moves. Other guys (like Hill most notably) would just stop trying out their moves if they were struggling. Even though it hurt us tonight, we NEED Patterson to keep trying these moves in in-game situations. As far as consequence goes, a regular season game is as least important as you can get. When Patterson does develop a reliable post game, it's going to be so useful that we'll appreciate all the time and games he put into developing it now.

Stick with him. We've already invested too much, and he's shown us so much promise from an athleticism standpoint, not to see what he can give us eventually. Sophomore slumps are really common. Tons of people were ready to give up on Cushing after his sophomore year, calling him a one-year 'roids-driven wonder. But look at last year: what did we learn? Well, excepting the fact that maybe we should put Patterson on HGH or something, we learned that we SHOULDN'T give up on young players in their second year.

I totally agree, though sure most wouldn't...hill should played more at pf, that is his natural position..he would been very solid on defense and had strength advantage not no mention he is athletic and can rebound at solid rate..I hated idea of him at center when at pf he can get away with more mistakes that cost, so pressure wouldn't be as bad and he could just focus on one guy more than trying to keep multiple people from getting to rim..I like patt patt and I think big reason for struggles are that injury and he will be better next year but hill I believe would be better fit defensively than patt...hope patt gets back to the player he was soon!

Give me a freakin' break. Scola may be a lot of things, but "soft" is not one of them.

That wasn't even a bad game... We hung in there. Despite poor shooting we outrebounded them, and outplayed them at times.
Too bad... we couldn't overcome Terry, Wright and the German.

Let's draft Sullinger, the answer for the future at the PF position.
    Talent, soul, heart and more...
