SF or PF? Nobody is consistent in these positions.
But it seems Rice sucks up a lot of money.
Do you know last year he was paid 8M? The most in the team, this is ridiculous.

I would like to have R. Jefferson and Randolph from last year's draft. Plug them in the SF and PF position. We are set.

They both stink, but three is a bigger problem. We desperately need help on the perimeter. If we had a starter 3 - no Moochie in the 4th. If we had a starter 3 - better zone and help defense on the perimeter. If we had a starter 3 - better slashing attack, ball movement to the post and jump shot options for Yao and SF.
4 is not the critical spot on this team. We can live with merely adequate help - we have 2 5s!. 1 and 2 MUST have help from the 3.

R Jefferson would not play wel in our team. Watch how he wil play if kidd isn't on his team. He can't shoot. He like te run and dunk, He is vere athletic. But he is not a good fit for Houston.

our Sf is our weakest position. Griffin wil become a great player, and taylor and thomas ar good player. they al just need to find theyr rythim

I feel a lot better about our 3 spot than our 4 spot.

KT is a nice option at the 4 but he is not the long term answer there IMO. I have no idea what is wrong with MoT. Eddie is obiously not ready to get starters minutes this year and who knows if he will ever develope into the stud we thought he would be when we drafted him.

The 3 is a lot better IMO. Rice is just too inconsistent to start IMO but everytime he comes out and has a good offensive game (which is about a quarter of the time now) it intrenches him more as the starter. Terence Morris has looked good with the playing time he has received this year and Boki could be the eventual starter in another year or so depending on Morris. Kenny Thomas has also had some effective minutes at the three this year.

Current starters at the 3 and 4:
KT and Rice. KT is doing a much better job than Rice at this point so 3 is currently our weekest position.

Future starters at the 3 and 4:
Unknown at the 4 but it is either TMo or Boki at the 3 and I think the 3 will be a position of strength in the future.

we need boki to excel at the SF spot
please step up....our backcourt are too small
our SFs are too slow (thomas, rice, and taylor)

boki is the typical type of forward....good size....shoots well
if he can find his niche....and make it into the roster....it'll be great for the team

The weakest link on our team is consistency. Its unfair to point to any one player as the reason for our losses.

This team is still very young. Just because we have had the 3rd or 4th best record in the West since the start of the season, doest mean we arent prone to struggling from game to game. Its going to be an up and down season. This team is still growing. Give them time to mature before casting blame on any one player as the reason for our particular failures.

    Patience everyone!!!!!!

We need someone that can back up both the SF and SG position that can hit the open shot. I wish we could have someone like Wesley Person. They also need to get an enforcer at the PF position until Eddie grown into that role. The weakest link now is probably at the 3 position. Glen can have a good game on a given night but not a consistent basis. I would tried Nachbar to see what he can do. I wonder if any other first round selection from last year are actually playing less the Nachbar so far.

Hitting the open jumpers. In other words, I agree with Codell. If they could hit the open Js, they would be much more consistent.
