This all has to do with Yao's conditioning. Even in the Asia games and world champs people can already see he gets winded quite easily.
He needs to be in NBA basketball shape. He will get rest during blowout games. I'm sure Rudy T knows Yao's condition during the games and wouldn't hesitate to pull his diamond in a heartbeat.
36 minutes a game shouldn't be too bad, even for a big guy like him. I mean Jordan was playing insane minutes for a very very long time. He did the whole shebang (playoffs, summer workouts, preseason, regular season, etc). Karl Malone was well-known for beng a super workhorse as well. He's been in the playoffs practically his whole career.
You cannot compare the punishment a running back faces versus basketball. Vastly different sports. You don't have 8 325lb. defensive linemen piling on you at full speed trying to end your career with every hit.
Don't worry too much about Yao. He's not a baby but a warrior.

Why do people aways say that Yao is tired?

I mean, get some sleep for cripes sake....

Francis and Mobley are playing the same games.

    Why don't they get tired?

this whole thing with yao must be exhausted after playing for 2 years straight is crap. what it really means is that he is in great shape if he has been playing for that long. have any of yall ever played sports? geez...i mean i swear its not that hard to recover from day to day. dadakota is right.

putting him on the IR is the silliest thing i have ever heard. yao looked tired early in the year. now he doesn't because he is getting used to the NBA pace.

garnett plays all year...he ain't tired. in fact almost all basketball players play year round. and don't give me that bs that its not the NBA so its not as intense. that is the biggest load of bull. its still a workout...any competitor is going to want to win whether it is a pickup game or NBA game.

when the guy starts to look tired let him rest...until then you guys are just treating like a baby like his mom. moms are supposed to worry about every little thing that can happen to their child.

Heard of it. They still won some clean championships and I don't think they used steriods in daily training.

Sure. My source told me that their daily diet was highed breakfast, stoned lunch and doped dinner. Plus they eat heroin rolls as snack.

the reason is simple: they think:Yao comes from CBA, NBA is too difficult and too many games for him. He cant handle it well.
