Why not? Both are under contract & Morris could easily slide over to the four. They are two different players. Chandler can guard 2's, 3's and some 4's. Having guys who can play multiple positions gives you flexibility. Some people are acting as if its either or, but you can never have enough good young players.

What a fun game to watch! It's so nice to see the Rockets follow a tight, hard fought win against the Lakers with a crushing defeat of Golden State. How often in the past have we seen a game like that Lakers game followed by a let down? A blown game, instead of a blowout? Dragic, Scola, Dalembert, Lee, and Parsons all with excellent games. The bench was outstanding! What's not to like? Camby is starting to fit right in. A great pickup by Morey. Hell, Morris, the cat missing in action, looked good in garbage time. Very quick. Really looks like a 3 now, unlike at the beginning of the season, and he can shoot the rock.

    Time for a streak?

But Morris just can't guard 4s. He's too small I think.

Looks like the clips are falling to 26-21 tonight. Down 5 with :14 to go.

This is based on what? This whole Morris D thing is overblown in my opinion.

Like others have mentioned...I'm intrigued by the prospect of trotting out both Parsons and Morris at the wings in the future. Parsons has shown he can keep up with pretty much everyone except for the speedier combo guards/ point guards. Parsons can take the better opposing player on the defensive side, while Morris can abuse the smaller opposing wing in the post. It would be a matchup nightmare for opponents.

Over-analyzing garbage minutes from a player, yeah that sounds about on par for the garm.

Morris is going to have to earn some of Bud's playing time first.

Another stellar game by both CP and Luis scola. all the talk was about parsons playing a little point, but it was scola that said..i ok. i can pass. jejejjejeje.

Evidently McHale told them that if they didn'y win tonight, that the Lakers win meant nothing! I think they heard him.

Yeah Parsons can defend some twos. Not the quicker ones. (Dwayne Wade) but what I think he can also do is guard alot of 4's. If he hits the weights and adds 10 ounds his length makes him able to cover 3 positions. That's amazing consider his shot is getting better. This kid is the type of player that helps you win championship. We are just one all star go to guy from competing for a championship.

I'm not sure hitting the weights would be a good idea, it makes you slower and more injury prone (see: Yao Ming). Also it might affect Parsons' shot, which is already funky to begin with. I don't really wanna see a versatile defender who can defend 3 positions, I'd rather he stick to two (SF and SG) and work on his quickness and scoring ability instead. Not everybody can be Lebron and guard 5 positions, that's why we have 4 other dudes on the court who can defend.

Having both Lowry and Martin out, especially Martin, has allowed Parsons the opportunity to be more than the 4th option on offense. He's now getting the ball and looking to score. I'm starting to think this guy may actually become a star player in this league. If he can become a consistent long range shooter, then lookout, he could become an all-star. If I'm an opposing GM trying to work a trade with the Rockets, Parsons might be the first player on my wish list.

What's the difference between Kobe and Dwyane?

Parsons is basically a young Robert Horry with a better all around game on the offensive side. And remember Robert slid to the 4 when he got older.
