It's kind of funny that the 2011/12 Clippers have arguably performed no better than the 2010/11 Hornets. I wonder if a coaching change is all it takes to turn it around. Also, remember that CP is under contract for only 1 more season after this one. He can very well demand a trade again this offseason just like he did with 1 year left on the deal in the 2011 offseason.

Yup, he's a goner. I had a feeling he'd get canned mid season. He's just not a very good coach.

D'Antoni system would be nice with these guys, they'd fulfill their Lob City label (still won't win **** though, but who gives a crap) and give us entertaining games.

Think McMillan gonna get the job, he's the perfect candidate right now.

What about D'antoni? Nate is not known for offensive creativity.

Much like the Knicks, I hope the Floppers keep their coach so they continue sucking. McMillan would have that team playing solid defense, and smart basketball in no time. But, I can't help but feel like Chris Paul is partly to blame here. If he was half the leader he claims to be, he would still have that team playing solidly, instead of letting a mutiny form. Look at the way Kobe and Pau are handling the Lakers....it's obvious Mike Brown can't coach offense worth *****, but the veterans of that team have rallied the troops around the fact that they KNOW how to win games. Paul is just an instigator.

Haha, the next shot D'antoni gets is going to be with a bad team like the Kings.

Clippers were idiots for hiring Vinny in the first place. What a pathetic franchise. When they got CP3, I thought he might be able to save Vinny's job if they got along well.

How about Phil Jackson or Sloan? That would be crazy if Jackson decided to take over in Clipperland.

D'antoni would be a fabulous offensive coordinator for the Clippers, and Nate would be a great coach for a young team. He would get them to play consistently hard, good D, and would definitely not play favorites.

They would both command a pretty decent salary for their respective positions, which is why The Donald will never do it.

Karma for flopping so damn much.

I feel like Blake needs a good coach. Because Blake doesn't seem to be a nice superstar. Kinda a a douche who doesn't think he needs to be coached.

They only hired him in the first place because the Bulls were paying half of his salary. He's a terrible coach.

CP3/Griffin pick and roll just like Malone and Stockton all over again.
Mo Williams is a poor mans version of Hornacek
Butler would be like Jeff Malone
DeAndre Jordan can provide some shot blocking like Mark Eaton.

Clippers would be a very dangerous team under Sloan if the players bought in and Sloan had the patience since they're still young.

I feel like Blake and CP3 would resent Sloan though

Maybe. That's the thing though... CP3 and Griffin have to buy in. Obviously we all hate the Jazz but there's no doubt that Sloan got the most out of his players and demanded full effort night in and night out. He's a no BS type of coach. Very similar to Popovich. Clippers should reach out to Sloan.. I don't see a better fit for them than Jerry and that includes PJ.
