Here are the pics i took. Here is the one on I-10: I took this one standing right in front of the billboard because there wasnt a good spot on the freeway (shoulder) to stop and take the pic Here is the one on 59. I took it right below the bridge when 59 curves. Enjoy!
um that Barkley line would make it on sportcenter you kidding me. that is really funny. congrats kid!! since you have a captive audience I would say smething about the quiet fans up close and how you know hundreds of people that would kill to sit in those seats just once. but that everyone there acts like they are dead. Im saying stick it to the stuffed shirts down front. and the city of Houston that needs to get behind the team. but I am an antagonist
Dave2000 - You are the man. I can't thank you enough. You went from I-10 all the way to 59?? Wow. Seriously, thanks for your effort. It looks great!
Not a problem, i live in East Houston, 1-10 and Beltway 8 east. I went to Galleria area today and both billboards are on the way there, no biggie. I do have a life!
Nice job RocketKid! Too bad they didn't say they noticed your design on Clutchcity.net, they just said the web. I thought you handled yourself very well! Congrats! B
Best heypartner line I have read on the BBS so far (not that there would have been that much to beat ).
dammit, I missed it because I had a final tonight. Anyone care to sum it up for the people that missed it? Hopefully it will be posted on rockets.com.
Well. I must say. I was very disappointed in myself. I could've done so much better. I wasn't anticipating to meet any players other than Eddie. I thought they would just ask me one or two questions about the board and let me meet Eddie, and we'd be done. So I didn't make too big of a deal out of it. It turns out that it was a lot more than I expected. I was so unprepared it wasn't even funny. Usually I'm A LOT better with thinking on my feet, but I didn't answer the questions too well. On top of that, I looked SLOPPY. My hair and clothes were atrocious. And I'm sure you all noticed I was talking real fast, I couldn't even understand myself. I sound like a girl. Maybe I'm being too critical because it's me on T.V., but I'm still disappointed. Anyway, it was still a great night regardless. Much props to Mike D. for making this night happen for me. He's truly a great guy. I hope all you guys have a chance to experience what I got to experience. BTW, sorry for not giving any props to cc.net. But hey, the site already gets too much traffic as it is, right?
You did a good job Rocketkid. I liked the halftime feature and the billboard. The flirting with Lisa was hilarious. And I liked the "shake them haters" off shimmy. It seemed Mo Taylor might have been a little pissed when he was asked about the Griffin billboard.
It was a good piece RocketKid!! You should try that cheesy line on the girls. You are famous and they will fall for it now! "Made in Heaven"
Let us know what it was like meating all of the Rocket players. I think you're the only one that wants to know this....
